Terms & Conditions


If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it for any reason within (5) days of receipt of order provided the items are returned unused and in the same condition they left our facility with the original packing materials and documentation. Bows must be returned boxed. To return a product, you must email us to receive an RMA#. The buyer must write the RMA# on the box(es) and return within the stated time requirement. Items without an RMA# will be refused.

Buyer is responsible for the shipping costs to return the item to us. The item must be returned in the same condition that it left our facility. If the item is lost or damaged in transit during the return shipment, buyer will be responsible for filing all shipping claims with the shipping company and no refund by us will be made. Returned merchandise is subject to a 20% re-stock and processing fee. Shipping charges and Custom Orders are non-refundable.

Upon receipt of the returned item, we will verify the condition of the items. If the condition of the item is not verified, the buyer will be responsible for having the item collected from our facility at their expense within 10 days of notification. If not collected within that period, the item will be disposed of at our discretion. Upon verification, we will issue a refund within 7 to 10 business days of processing via the same method which payment was originally made.


Exchanges are subject to the same requirements and conditions as a normal product return however, the re-stock and processing fee will only be applied if the exchange product total is less than the returned product total. Shipping charges are not included.

To exchange a product, simply place an order for the products you would like included in your exchange. Make sure to include the original order number in the comments section. When completing the order, select "Exchange Request" as the payment method and submit the order normally. You will be emailed an invoice showing the products you wish to order in exchange. We will confirm the original order qualifies for exchange and email you a RMA# to write on your package for return. You will not be charged at that time but the products you have chosen will be held for you for a period of up to seven (7) days to allow you to ship your previous products back and use as a credit toward your new purchase.

Upon receipt of the returned products, we will verify the condition of the items and ship your new products as replacements. The returned product total (less shipping charges) will be applied to the exchange product total (less shipping charges). If the exchange product total is less than the returned product total, only the difference will be subject to a 20% re-stock and processing fee. Any balance left on the exchange order will be billed to the payment billing method originally made. You will receive an email showing the calculations and a payment receipt.

Alpine Holiday Bows warrants that goods shipped will conform to the order terms accepted and shall be free from defects in material and workmanship. Purchaser's sole remedy in the event of warranty claim shall be the recovery of the purchase price of the defective product . Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Alpine Holiday Bows shall in no event have any liability for defects in or damage to products in or in connection with which products are used, down time of any machines or equipment, production delay or stoppages, shipping delays or cancellations, loss of business or profits or any incidental or consequential damages or losses, what so ever. This section sets forth the only warranty applicable to the goods purchased herein: and no other warranty, expressed or implied, including any warranty of merchantability of fitness shall apply to the goods, all such warranties being hereby disclaimed by purchaser.

Written notice or email of any claim for defective product, incorrect product or product shortage must be delivered by purchaser to Alpine Holiday Bows within (5) days of receipt of order, claim for undelivered products within (10) days of scheduled ship date. In the absence of such notice, purchaser will be deemed to have waived all such claims.


Claims for damaged merchandise must be reported to the carrier and Alpine Holiday Bows within 24 hours upon receipt of shipment. Upon notification, hold on to all merchandise, packing material and containers. Once the damaged products are inspected by the Carrier they will issue a damage inspection report which will be forwarded to Alpine Holiday Bows. If carrier approves damages a damage claim number will be issued and Alpine Holiday Bows will issue you a credit for the approved damage amount, usually in the manner the payment was received.


Orders can be cancelled prior to shipment if received before products have been packaged and released to the shipper. A 20% re-stock and processing fee will be charged. Custom orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun.


Most orders are shipped within 1 - 2 business days depending on the volume of orders we are currently processing. During heavy volume days shipping may extend to 3rd business day. Large orders can require additional processing and shipping times. We will notify you of any delay. Shipping charges are calculated once you place products into your cart. We ship using USPS & UPS depending on the size of your order. Transit time can be impacted by seasonal weather and carrier seasonal volume. Delivery times are not guaranteed.

Standard Shipping: Estimated transit delivery time Small orders - 2 to 3 business days (USPS) and Large orders - 2 to 5 business days (UPS) once order is shipped and accepted by the carrier.

Please provide accurate shipping addresses for both carriers.

Express and/or Overnight shipping are currently not offered.

Returned/Refused Packages. Orders that are refused by the destination or returned to our warehouse for any reason, other than our error, will be subject to return shipping costs. This charge will be billed separately to the payment method used for purchase. Products returned to us in this manner are not eligible for refund. Buyer will be responsible for having the item collected from our facility at their expense within 10 days of return. If not collected within that period, the item will be disposed of at our discretion.

We accept orders and ship only within the continental USA, Hawaii and Alaska.

Bows are shipped ready to use in a plastic lined corrugated container. Tails are loosely wrapped around the center of the bow before snuggly arranging to help minimize crushing & creasing of the loops & tails. Some rearranging and straightening of the bow may be necessary upon arrival.


Actual color of bows can vary slightly from image due to computer monitor setting differences as well as ribbon dye lot variances. If very specific color matching is necessary, please contact us to have a swatch sample sent to verify the color is exactly what you require.


Ribbon & Bows are classified as follows:
Weatherproof - Able to withstand most outside weather conditions including full exposure to moisture & temperature. However as with anything exposed to direct sun or prolonged extreme conditions, fading or damage can still occur.

Weather Resistant - Able to withstand normal outside weather conditions including moderate exposure to moisture & temperature.
Needs some exposure protection during extreme weather. Fading can still occur under direct sun exposure.

Weather Sensitive
- Able to withstand minimal direct outside weather conditions. Should have protected exposure to outside weather.

The technical term for the fading that occurs is photo-degradation and is actually a chemical reaction between the sunlight and the dyes in the material. We see just how strong the sun’s rays can be in the way that it can quickly tan or burn your skin, and the energy potential in sunlight is huge. The dyes used in fabrics and ribbon are actually a mixture of elements that, when combined, create the desired color. Exposed to sunlight consistently the dye is actually broken down into its individual elements, and therefore loses its color.

The main culprit for causing fading is the UV rays that are prominent in sunlight, and are widely thought to cause damage to all materials over time. UVA are the longer waves that are emitted by the sun and penetrate deep into fabric and ribbon, breaking down the chemical bonds within the dye. Not only can these rays cause fading, but given enough time they can even damage the actual fabric or ribbon. All fabrics and ribbon, including polypropylene ribbon are subject to the harmful UV rays of the sun. Some ribbon is effected more than others. The polypropylene ribbon used in outdoor bows is waterproof and will hold up very well in inclement weather but depending on the intensity of the sun, can still fade.

Synthetic and natural fabric ribbon can show signs of fraying if exposed to repeated movement in their use. To keep this from happening to your bows you can apply clear nail polish or craft glue to seal the edges. Heating the edges can also be used to synthetic fabrics.
